This book contains tons of classic nursery rhymes, like "Ring Around the Rosie" or "Humpty Dumpty". Most poems in this book rhyme and are classics that many students will know prior to class.
This book would be a great addition to a preschool or kindergarten classroom. It would be an awesome way to introduce rhymes. Students could make motions to the poems or even act the poems out. For my ELL students, I would ask their parents about common children's stories or rhymes in their native language so that I have something to relate this book to.
The illustrations in this book are definitely the star of the show. They are photographs that are edited to fit each poem. They are so vivid and crisp.
